iPhone, iPad Tools: self monitoring (behavior/mood, TBI, PTSD symptoms)




PTSD Coach is a mobile phone application for people with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and those interested in learning more about PTSD.

This application provides:

Education about PTSD
A self-assessment
Tools for managing distress associated with Posttraumatic Stress
A direct connection to crisis support and
Information about professional treatment.
It can be used as a stand-alone education and symptom management tool, or to augment face-to-face care with a healthcare professional.


PTSD Coach was a collaborative effort between the VA’s National Center for PTSD and the DoD’s National Center for Telehealth and Technology.

The National Center for Telehealth and Technology |T2| researches, develops, evaluates, and deploys new and existing technologies for Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) across the Department of Defense (DoD).

The Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Pocket Guide mobile application for health care providers gives instant access to a comprehensive quick-reference guide on improving care for mTBI patients. Designed to reflect current clinical standards of care, the mTBI Pocket Guide mobile application can help you improve quality of care and clinical outcomes for patients.
Military and civilian physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and related treatment and therapy providers can use the application to find information on assessing, treating, and managing common symptoms of mTBI patients.
